If I were rich I might consider this - the thought of having company, without the guilt of subjecting someone else to my company - because they’re being adequately compensated for the inconvenience - is quite tempting.

Honestly, I get this. The thought of not having to be charming, and just talk exclusively, at length, about the things *I* find to be interesting does appeal.

When I'm crapping on about one of my *~*~*~*~special interests~*~*~*~* and see the light go out of their eyes, I know to pull up.

But imagine if I didn't HAVE to?

Amazing.

As an old man who realized too late you'll always regret the life you didn't live more than the life you did, I wish nothing but the best for you, James, Amy, and all her fellas and say more power to you and everyone else living their best life, whatever form that takes.

This is a lovely, timely comment.

I want the best for them all, too.

These men aren't paying for love, they're paying for attention.

If they're paying, I suppose it doesn't matter.

Weirdly with Amy's clients, they seem to want to stay.

Good lord, imagine paying $110 a month and still getting left-swiped. 😳

I'm sure they get some attention... right...?

People (& the stuff between them) are always more complex. You never shrink, cartoonify, prefab, package or judge their stories, which is its own talent separate to your eloquence.

Thanks Dean -- this is just the kindest comment. And really appreciated. Thank you.
