You omit the fact that T. gondii is particularly dangerous to pregnant women resulting in foetal death or abnormality. Is it a stretch to say that the Nats also hinder development and a new , better, future?
Our local nats numpties are currently obsessed with nuclear at lithgow because wind turbines in the state forest might damage the environment.
Yes. In the state forest that's full of monoculture plantation pine trees that are planed there expressly to be cut down and harvested. But those wind turbines have concrete bases and might damage the delicate ecosystem!
But lithgow at the end of the Gross valley in a wonderfully bushfire prone location with limited water supplies, that's a fantastic place for a nuclear plant.
The whole town of oberon has signed to say that nobody is willing to have wind turbines on their land or basically within their eyeline. Oberon does have an uncommonly high number of murders, cases of animal cruelty and child sex offenders for such a small population though, if that tells you anything about the collective brain power of the people who vote nationals though. I think maybe they've licked some cat piss too.
